Arizona Wildlife Resource is not a licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility. We assist rehabilitation facilities as an extension service.
We help by picking up animals in need, transporting them to rehab centers, addressing wildlife-related questions, building habitats in critical areas to aid in conservation efforts, and teaching effective poison-free rodent control methods. We also report illegal activities such as destroyed nesting sites and power line electrocutions.
Our goal is to help people understand nature a little better in hopes to consciously create more wildlife friendly communities
Donations are never expected; however, wildlife rescues throughout Arizona are funded solely by private donations and mostly operate out of volunteers' homes.
Monetary donations help offset the costs for rescue transport efforts, educational materials, habitat restoration projects, re-nesting supplies, and building wildlife-friendly communities.
Donations can be made via our Amazon Wish List, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.
Rescue transport efforts are provided by volunteers. If you are interested in learning how to volunteer or need volunteer assistance, please contact us or one of the centers listed on the map
In-house volunteering requires a commitment of 3 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.
Volunteering as a rescue transporter involves using your own vehicle, with calls coming in as needed.
If you are inspired, we also accept donations in the form of graphic design assistance or any other skills you can offer to support wildlife conservation efforts
We offer a variety of educational tools on our website. Keep an eye out for our programs and how you can get involved.
